Manage Your Presence

To configure your settings, you will have to be logged in to the Extension User Portal.

Presence status

Presence status is linked to the call forwarding settings and Linkus ring strategy.

in2pbx provides five presence statuses:

  • Available
  • Away
  • DND
  • Lunch Break
  • On a Business Trip

You can configure call forwarding and ring strategy for each presence status except DND status.

Note: If the presence status is set to DND, you won’t receive any calls.

Configure Your Presence Settings

You can log in the Extension User Portal to configure the call forwarding settings and ring strategy for your presence status.

  1. Go to Me > Presence, select the Presence that you want to configure.
  2. In the Presence Information field, enter your information for the presence status.
    The information will be displayed on Linkus client.
  3. Configure the Transfer Destination (Call Forwarding) settings.
    1. Select the forwarding conditions:
      • Always: All the calls will be forwarded regardless of your state.
      • No Answer: Calls will be forwarded to if you don’t answer the call.
      • When Busy: Calls will be forwarded when you are busy in a call.
    2. Select a destination for the selected forwarding condition.
  4. Optional: If you are using Linkus client, set the Ring Strategy for your IP phone, Linkus mobile client, and Linkus PC client.
  5. Click Save and Apply.

Switch Your Presence Status

You can log in the Extension User Portal to switch your presence status. The presence status will be displayed on Linkus client, and the corresponding call forwarding and ring strategy will work.

  1. On the Extension User Portal, click the status icon at the right-upper corner to switch your presence status.

Note: If the presence status is set to DND, you won’t receive any calls.
