in2tel purchases Dublin-based telcoms company Qtel
Irish telecoms provider in2tel has acquired another telecoms business Qtel, with Qtel’s founder Brian Dunleavy taking on the role of sales director and Noel Boland joining as a senior field engineer.
The two firms had been in a longstanding partnership, with Qtel establishing itself as a key reseller and playing a major role in the success of in2tel’s hosted PBX platform, in2pbx. The acquisition will see in2tel strengthen its service portfolio, in a year where the company has already seen strong growth in Q3.
Qtel’s expertise in supporting a wide range of on-site equipment will further enhance in2tel’s ability to support businesses and assist in managing their customer requirement for future IP and hosted services.

in2tel has seen a quick shift towards Cloud communication services, as companies have been forced to adapt work-from-home policies. Traditional ISDN has been replaced with more modern call centre applications and hosted technologies, which are designed for flexible work environments.
