Having the ability to redirect your calls to a new telephone number is at the heart of our systems design. We believe that you the customer should be able to tell our platform where you need your calls to be pointed at and know that the next call is going to go there – without having to wait for anyone else to do some work. To do this, In2tel have designed a web portal that allows you to login and tell our system where to point your calls to – in real time. We have 4 products which allow you to control your calls:

 

Basic Number Translation – our simplest application allows you to log-in to our secure site, pick your number and input the new destination number, then click save. The next call will simply be diverted to its new answering point. Calls can be targeted at landline, mobiles or international destinations dependant on the agreed tariffing.

Locator – this product allows you to tell the system multiple numbers that you would like the calls to be answered at – for instance your office, your mobile and a 3rd party answering service. Like the BNT product, you have the ability to access the platform through the web portal and change the destination numbers and the order in which the system dials them. An added facility on this service is a voicemail environment which captures any calls that are not answered and emails you a copy of the recording for you to play on your PC or Smart phone.

Finder – building on the complexity of the above service, the next step is a time control element, thus allowing calls to follow one path when the business is open and available to take the calls and another when its not. Finder has been built to allow you to define your opening hours and days, then route each (up to 4) time zone to a destination number. So if a business operates Monday to Friday 08:00hrs through to 18:00hrs, calls can be presented through to the office as normal, then at 18:00hrs week days through to 08:00hrs (including weekends), calls can be sent through to a mobile phone number. By allowing the network to make the timed routing decisions, you are avoiding any diversion costs of calls from your office.

Bespoke IVR – to put it simply menu systems, "press 1 for sales 2 for service" etc. Despite a lot of bad press, when a menu system is designed right, it works for both the caller and the business – not just the business!
